Overview #1

Imagine spending years and thousands of dollars to become a doctor only to have it all stolen from you! Of course it didn’t take the debt that was aquired to become a doctor. It took the ability to continue to be a doctor. What was it that so savagely took this ability? CANCER!
My husband worked hard to become a wonderful family practice doctor. His patients loved him and he would go above and beyond for his patients. He designed and built us a beautiful house. Life was good until the summer of 2014 when he had to have a foot of his small intestines cut out due to a cancer tumor. It was a relief when the surgeon said he got all of the cancer out. Little did we know this releaved feeling wouldn’t last long.
It has been a long battle filled with more cancer, cancer treatments, and long hospital stays. In this blog I will talk about some of the things we have been through, lessons we’ve learned the hard way, things we wish we would have known before all this, our frustrations along the way, I’ll add some pictures/ videos and talk about what’s happening now.
I would love to say that I will be doing this daily but honestly it all depends on how Chris is doing. He is and will always be my first priority.

Until next time,
Count your blessings and enjoy lifeā¤
